Diandra AsbatyDiandra developed a passion for coaching because of all the amazing coaches she has had in her life. (From the youth bowling coaches back in Dyer, Indiana, to her University of Nebraska coaches, and on to her Team USA coaches). She now has developed the ability to pass that knowledge onto bowlers of all ages, levels, and styles. Her best feelings come not from winning tournaments, but from seeing others grow from the knowledge they gain from her experiences and expertise. She is a USBC Silver Level coach, a Team USA member for 13 years, and owns over 60 international medals.
Ron HoppeNext to the definition of Renaissance Man is a picture of Ron Hoppe. He has continually renewed and reinvigorated the bowling industry for the last forty years as an internationally renowned bowling coach. Ron has been the head bowling coach for six countries. He owned several extremely successful pro shops and led the way to a cultural shift in the recognition of pro shop operators as skilled professionals. Ron is a founder of International Bowling Pro Shop Instructor Association (IBPSIA). He was its first president and recipient of the Light House and President Awards. Eleven years ago Ron was one of the first USBC Gold Coaches to be certified.
Jason BelmonteJason started traveling around the world since the age of 16 and has met many great bowlers, friends, and coaches along the way. He won his first tournament when he was 4 and considers his bowling style to be ‘normal’. He has represented Australia since 2001 and has won over 25 medals for his country. Winning in his 10th PBA event, Belmo is now an exempt PBA member and finished 6th in the world rankings as of the 2009/10 season. Jason is a USBC Silver Level coach, and despite popular belief, can coach a one-handed bowler. His greatest achievements include tricking his wife, Kimberly, into marrying him, and his daughter Aria.
In the event that Diandra, Jason or Ron are unable to attend an IAB Bowler’s Bootcamp, the International Art of Bowling will make every effort to find a suitable replacement from our IAB Coaching Staff listed below.

Del Warren
As Vice President of the Kegel Training and Tournament Center, Del Warren is well known throughout the bowling industry. He is a Gold Level USBC certified coach as well as a recognized Bowlers Journal International Top 100 Coach. He spent five years as a touring player on the PBA Tour where he earned two national titles as well as a third place finish in the prestigious 1986 Firestone Tournament of Champions. Del also holds ten regional titles and was honored as the 1983 Southern Region Player of the Year. He has 35 sanctioned 300 games and thirteen 800 series to his credit.
Del started working with AMF in 1993 as a tour rep where he coached many PBA stars including Dick Weber, John Mazza, Marianne DiRupo, and most notably Bob Learn Jr. At the 1996 Flagship Open, in front of his hometown Erie, PA crowd, Learn defeated Johnny Petraglia 300-279 in the opening match earning him a $100,000 bonus and tying two other bowlers for the world record of 52 sanctioned perfect games. While capturing this third PBA title, Learn also broke the existing four-game TV total by shooting an 1129 series with a staggering 282.25 average. Del followed up this coaching success by helping Cara Honeychurch score a perfect game at the 1999 AMF Gold Cup which paid her $50,000 for her live TV performance.
Warren broadened his work for AMF by designing bowling balls including the Bull Whip, named by Bowling This Month as the 1996 Pearl Ball of the Year, and the Night Hawk, voted the People’s Choice Ball of the Year in 1997. He also worked with AMF Bowling Centers conducting teaching clinics for coaches and instructional classes for bowlers. In 2001, Del went on to serve as President of Track International for four years where he continued to develop high performance products and a new coaching system called Pure Approach.
Del came to the Kegel Training Center in 2006 to take on the challenging role of professional coaching and pro shop development. In 2009 he was voted IBPSIA President for a 2 year term while also serving on the WTBA Technical Board. Del’s passion for bowling ensures Kegel’s leadership in promoting excellence and integrity in coaching and pro shop operations through innovation.
